Explore the differences between hub drive and mid drive ebike motors. Hub drive motors are located in either the front or rear wheel hub, controlled by pedal assist sensors or torque sensors. Mid drive motors are built into the frame between the pedal cranks, responding to pedal force, speed, and cadence.
