We know that safety is paramount for many of our customers. Rest assured that the quality Samsung battery cells will perform time and again and keep you riding for longer. Having a 48V 14Ah battery, expect at least 60km when new.

Note

GENERAL MAINTENANCE IS ALWAYS REQUIRED FOR BIKES AND TRIKES. With the BF i-Tri, we recommend regularly tightening the wheel nut bolts as the bolts may become loose over time. Please check with your local bike mechanic or call our store if you would like further guidance on this and other general preventative maintenance requirements.

Who is this product suitable for? 

This trike is available in two frame sizes, accommodating smaller riders comfortably! Its traditional appearance and rear basket make this the perfect trike for local shopping trips or visiting friends, offering independence to senior and older adult riders and those looking to stay connected without driving.

How does this product differ from similar ones on the market? 

The i-Tri is a high-quality tricycle delivered fully assembled by our bike mechanic, ready for use. Featuring the lowest step-over height available, it's ideal for riders who have difficulty lifting their legs high when mounting or dismounting. Seniors appreciate its safe frame design and lightweight steering system, designed to support continued riding enjoyment.

How do I care for and maintain this product? 

We recommend at least annual servicing or every 1000km. We offer standardised service labour rates HERE. Note, servicing for trikes usually takes a little longer but should be a standard check of all the components and wear and tear and shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours to get your trike spick and span again.

Can this product be customised/personalised? 

We do offer upgrades to the headstem, grips, saddle and pedals! If a rider requires their dominant braking to be changed, we can adapt the setup of the controls on the trike cockpit.

What accessories can be fitted to this model?

The i-Tri trike includes a spacious rear basket. Add extra storage with front bags or baskets. Enhance safety with rear vision mirrors or the iPhone-compatible Knog Scout alarm/tracking system. We also offer security upgrades and a variety of colorful accessories like bells, bags, baskets, and pedals to personalise your trike.

What safety standards does this product meet?

The i_Tri upright electric tricycle strictly complies with the EN15194 standard. It has a 250W front-hub motor which delivers up to 250W continuously and peak power delivery up to 750W when you really need that extra boost on hills. Only excellent quality battery cells are used in our tricycles.
