Our short-stature customers came to us with a challenge – design a bike that I can ride as a two-wheeler but give me power so I don’t fatigue! Like everyone else, our short-statured customers didn’t want to be limited in their choice of routes, wanting to tackle hills and longer distances and having electric pedal assistance makes this possible.

A WORLD'S FIRST

People with short-stature typically find it challenging to get on and off a bike. The Lightning is the first bike in the world to offer the power and the design to enable people with dwarfism to participate fully – without limits.

LOW FRAME

Getting on and off with short limbs demands a super low frame height and a design which enables the saddle to be low so you can still reach the ground. With this unique design, we make this easy and even have some options to reduce the pedal action if you find the rotation a bit difficult.

COMFORT IS KEY

Our research clearly showed that handlebar adjustment is critical. We offer a couple of choices – the foam covered butterfly loop or the 3-piece modified bar offering the ultimate in positional design.

FEEL SECURE

We know small hands can find it hard to apply the brakes fully and when needed. We designed the Lightning with hydraulic brakes which are so much easier to apply and responsive to the lightest touch. If you find the reach too far, we can help you out with that as well, just ask us how.
