The Fietsen op Maat Crank Shortener is an adjustable cycling aid designed to reduce the effective crank length on one side of a bicycle. By shortening the pedal circle, it helps compensate for leg length discrepancies, limited knee or hip flexion, prosthetic use, or situations where a rider struggles to comfortably reach the pedals. Rather than requiring a new crankset, the unit mounts directly onto the existing crank arm and allows the pedal position to be adjusted to suit the rider's individual needs.
Manufactured from high-quality aluminium, the crank shortener is fully adjustable and compatible with most bicycle and e-bike crank arms up to 40mm wide. Its universal design allows installation on either the left or right side, making it a versatile solution for adaptive cycling, rehabilitation, and comfort-focused riding.
