E-bikes and e-scooters are everywhere — and so is the confusion about what's actually allowed on our roads and shared paths.
Many of the devices being sold and modified online aren't legal to ride. Families are finding out the hard way: through a fine, an insurance knock-back, a crash, or a battery fire in the garage.
The fix is information. Once you know the rules and how to buy well, e-mobility is one of the safest, cheapest and most freeing ways for a family to get around.

What happens at the session?
A relaxed, plain-English workshop covering the rules, safety and buying advice — with legal and illegal devices in the room so you can see the difference. Bring your questions.
How long does it run?
Around 60–90 minutes including questions. We'll confirm the format when we book you in.
Who should attend?
Parents, teenagers, residents, schools, councils and community groups — anyone riding, buying, or worried about e-bikes and e-scooters in their neighbourhood.
Is it a sales pitch?
No. It's community education. We'll answer product questions if you ask, and that's it.
Can you bring bikes to look at?
Yes — we can bring compliant bikes so families can see and, where there's space, try a legal setup for themselves.
