A wonderful story

A wonderful story – Matty C from Grange

Before Matty received his e-trike, we managed a few flat bike paths and rides up to about 10km on a traditional adult trike.

His BF Trojan e-trike (‘The Beast’ we like to call it!) has just seen us complete a 25km round trip from home to be part of the 2024 Tour De Brisbane Family Ride. We think he had some more in the tank too

Of course, his bike is more than a form of transport
. As it is for most of us. This one allowed him the chance to get involved, as thousands of others did, like anyone else. It’s another adaptation in his life to normalise what is normal to everyone else. It seems to always draw fabulous comments too, which fills him with pride.

Although Matty is unable to speak, the smile on his face says it all.  He loves the stand-out colour, fat go-anywhere tyres and the fact that a puddle always ends up with dad getting wet when riding behind!

We appreciated being able “...to test-ride a couple of options to make the right choice. This one’s a keeper
and we look forward to exploring some rail trails next and the options to ride further, and more diverse terrain, than we ever thought possible.”
